Get ready for a real adventure on Kola Peninsula, the northern land of Sami legends: in just a few days you will enjoy mountain canyons and passes, breath-taking descents and ascents, magnificent tundra, ice of sacred Sami lakes, and snow sparkling in the April sun. An excellent opportunity to celebrate Spring deep inside the Arctic Circle!

Day 1
(Mon, Wed, Fri)
Arrival by flight from Moscow in Kirovsk/Apatity* in the evening, meeting at the airport, transfer to a hotel in Kirovsk (40 min from Kirovsk airport). Check-in at the hotel, overnight.

Day 2
Breakfast. Check-out and transfer to the starting point of the snowmobiling trip – Tirvas (30 min). Safety briefing and snowmobile driving instructions, getting equipped. Start the snowmobile safari (80 km) from Tirvas to Kuel’porr, where the mountain rescue team station is located, and further in Khibiny mountains along the route Eastern Petrelius pass – Northern Rischorr – Kaskasnyunchor peak. The main task of the day is to master the snowmobile driving in the mountainous landscape. Lunch as a snack on the way.
Accommodation in Kuel’porr mountain hotel in twins or rooms for 6 persons, dinner, Russian banya (sauna), overnight.
Day 3
Breakfast. Start off for a challenging snowmobiling adventure (110 km) through canyons and passes of the Khibinsky mountain ridge along the route: Lake Goltsovoye – Yuzhniy Partamtchorr pass – the Mayval’tayok river upper reaches – up the slopes of the Lyavotchorr mountain – Obmanniy pass – Suoluayv pass - the Mayval’tayok river – down to Kaskas valley – up again along a mountain branch located east of Kuropatchiy pass – ascending a plateau left of Lake Akademitcheskoye – down to Kuniyok valley. Lunch on the way
Return to already familiar Kuel’porr hotel. Dinner, overnight. Optional sauna (extra cost)
Day4
Breakfast. Leave Kuel’porr for another day of adventures across the northern land (105 km): Kuel’porr – Partamtchorr pass – the frozen Tulyok river – Lake Umbozero (a 45km long lake) – Puntcha –Lake Lovozero once upon a time inhabited by Sami (Kola Lapps). Lunch on the way.
Arrival at Lake Lovozero, accommodation in Medvezhiy ugol tourist center in rooms for 2-3-6 persons, dinner, Russian banya.
Day 5
Breakfast. Start the last day of our snowmobiling itinerary along mountainsides, passes canyons and lakes (105 km) on the route: Lake Lovozero – Puncha – Umbozero lake – Tulyok river – picturesque Umbozersky pass – Kuel’porr – Kirovsk. Lunch on the way.
Arrival in Kirovsk at 6 pm, dinner, check-in at the hotel. Free time and dinner at your own expense. Overnight in the hotel
Day 6
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport in Kirovsk for departure to Moscow at 9 am
* Direct flights between Moscow and Kirovsk/Apatity are performed by Aeroflot Nord in AN-24 aircraft only (3 hrs 20 min). Arrival Kirovsk 7 pm Mon, Wed, Fri; departure Kirovsk fro Moscow 9 am Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat starting from March 26.
The Tour Operator reserves the right to introduce alterations to the itinerary due to weather conditions or other factors out of control by the Tour operator.
 
* Note 1: arrival/departure directly in Kirovsk/Apatity from Moscow is possible by daily train at 9.30 am (the duration of the train trip one-way is appr 30 hrs). In this case, the itinerary starts in the morning of Day 2 with meeting at the railway station and breakfast, and ends on the evening of Day 5 with the transfer to the railway station and departure to Moscow/St Petersburg at 21.40. The tour price is EUR 100 less per person.
* Note 2: arrival/departure is possible by flight to/from Murmansk airport, with a transfer to Kirovsk (3.5 hrs). In this case, the itinerary starts in the evening of Day 1 with meeting at the airport and 3.5 hrs transfer to Kirovsk,and ends on the morning of Day 6 with the transfer back to Murmansk airport for flight to Moscow. -          valid for own groups of a tour operator / travel agent for standard departure dates (10 and more pax), English-, French-, or German speaking guide included. in case of group size 9 or less pax the price changes, extra charge for a guide-interpreter
 
Note 1: in case of arrival and departure by train in/from Apatity, the tour price is EUR 100 less per person
Note 2: in case of arrival and departure by flight to/from Murmansk, the supplement fortransfers Murmansk-Kirovsk-Murmansk with a guide is EUR 150 per person (group 2 pax), EUR 120 per person (group 3-6 pax)
 
The price includes the following: meeting at the airport, transfers according to the itinerary, “Polaris” snowmobile rental, gas, equipment (suit, safety helmet, neck guard, shoe covers, gloves), meals according to the itinerary, accommodation as per itinerary in Kirovsk hotel twin-basis, Kuel’porr hotel (in rooms for 2 and 6 persons) and Medvezhy Ugol (rooms for 2-3-6 persons), Russian banya in the hotel and at the guest house, accompanying personnel (instructors incl an English-speaking person), insurance.
 
The price does not include: air fare or train fare, spirits, sauna on Day 2, dinner on Day 5.
 
Accommodation on the itinerary:
- Hotel in Kirovsk – a mini-hotel or a 3 star hotel in the city of Kirovsk with twins and singles, private WC/bathrooms, café-restaurant
- Kuel’porr mountain hotel is a building with 4 twins with private WC/bathrooms and 3 rooms for 6 persons with shared facilities; a big hall. Electricity, hot water. Wooden banya for 4 persons.
- Medvezhiy ugol tourist center is an accommodation unit 12 person capacity, with rooms for 2-3-6 persons (wooden beds and bedside tables). The houses are wooden (one- and two-storeyed). Stove-heating, electricity. Facilities outside, no hot water. Russian steam sauna (banya). Meals served in a cafe Sami tent - style.
